Civil Practice and Procedures-II

The focus of this course will be on the Georgia Civil Practice Act and on civil pleading practice. The student will be given a set of facts and will be asked to prepare draft pleadings for the attorney's review including a Complaint, an Answer and basic discovery documents. The student will become very familiar with the Georgia Civil Practice Act and be able to prepare draft pleadings and discovery documents. The student will also learn how the civil Court Clerk's offices operate in the various civil Courts of Georgia as well as how lawsuits are filed and served. (No text is required. Materials will be provided by the Instructor.)
