NXT Robotics Camp - Rising 5-8 Graders

This half-day summer camp provides a great hands-on learning and building experience using unique LEGO® kits. Students will creatively build and modify machines applying basic engineering principles. This is an integrated science and math class. Students will learn a variety of concepts and apply their acquired knowledge about gearing and gear ratios, simple machines, problem solving, and communication skills throughout this class. This challenges students to incorporate the traits of an engineer in a classroom setting. This is a one of a kind program that will keep your child academically engaged and challenged this summer, all while having fun. Campers will receive a take home project, and you won't want to miss the culmination event at the end of camp!
